Welcome to Southern York where approximately 3300 Warriors go wild! Southern York County School district covers a 68 sq mile area in a suburban setting.  Three elementary schools, Friendship, Shrewsbury and Southern Elementary schools house students Kindergarten to 6th grade. Southern Middle School  and Susquehannock High School are located on Fissels Church Rd in Glen Rock.  The district has produced higher than state and national average SAT scores, a consistent pattern of achieving AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) status, and an impressive graduation rate. The high school offers students the opportunity to get a head start on college by participating in the Dual Enrollment program. This is a state program to earn college credits at a reduced rate while at the same time meeting graduation requirements.
