South Eastern School District Real Estate

South Eastern is a large rural community of 105 sq miles that is bordered by the Mason Dixon line on the south.  The district has six schools total, three elementary, two middle schools, and one high school.  Delta-Peach Bottom Elementary is for students in pre-school to 4th grade and the school reported 330 students in 2010.  Fawn Elementary serves about the same number of students in K thru 4th grade. Stewartstown Elementary again has approximately 330 students in grades K thru 6th.  According to the Pennsylvania Dept. of Education all three of these schools achieved AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) status in 2010-2012 with high percentages of students on grade level or advanced. South Eastern Middle School West and South Eastern Middle School East are both located on Main Street in Fawn Grove.  The schools are broken up by grade with 5th and 6th graders attending West, and 7th and 8th graders attending East.  Kennard-Dale High is also located in Fawn Grove on Main Street and houses all the students 9th-12th grade in the district.  The high school also met AYP status in 2012 and offers students the opportunity to get a head start on college by participating in the Dual Enrollment program. This is a state program to earn college credits at a reduced rate while at the same time meeting graduation requirements.
