Maria embarked on her real estate journey in 2001, taking up various roles within brokerage capacities while also selling real estate. Throughout her career, she held positions such as Manager of incoming REALTOR, Director of Career Development, recruiter for new agents, mentor for new agents, and instructor for pre-licensing classes for prospective realtors and property managers for the Real Estate Commission.
Maria’s success in the field inspired her son Philip to follow in her footsteps, and he has since become a highly skilled and accomplished licensed real estate agent with an impressive track record of over 13 years of experience. Phil's unique advantage in the industry lies in his passion for technology, which enables him to offer clients a comprehensive and modern approach to buying and selling homes. Presently, Maria and Phil combine their wealth of knowledge and experience to boast a remarkable 30 years of combined real estate experience, having sold more than 900 homes.
In 2020, Maria and Phil Accardo founded the Accardo Real Estate Team amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the main drivers for starting the team was their belief in the effectiveness of a team model for running a real estate sales business, especially given the direction of the industry. The team's vision is to become the leading real estate group in York County, catering to the needs of sellers, buyers, and individuals seeking comprehensive support and success on a dynamic and innovative team.
