York City School District Real Estate

York City School District is an urban setting with a population around 40,000 people. According to the district the total student enrollment in public, charter, and cyber schools in the district was 7,658 in January 2013. The district runs six elementary schools for grades K-8th, William Penn Highschool, and Lindbergh Education Center which is an alternate education school. Recently David G. Meckley has been appointed to serve the district as Chief Recovery Officer because York City School District has been declared to be a moderate financially distressed district.
