Panther Pride is abundant in this suburban setting district. Central School District services over 5,500 pupils in seven schools. Hayshire, Roundtown and Stony Brook Elementary schools house grades Kindergarten to 3rd grade. In the 4th-6th grades, students attend either North Hills or Sinking Springs Elementary before attending the Central York Middle School in 7th-8th grade. In 2005 a new Central York High School opened for 9th-12th graders. In the same year their football team was the first York-Adams team to make it to the Pennsylvania State Playoffs.
